I am hosting a sacred, imaginative gathering to meet the lusciousness of dream charting with the richness of reading. In this Dreaming Circle Book Club, I will guide a private, weekly group through a close reading of Dr Clarissa Pinkola Estés’ Women Who Run With the Wolves, and engaging a Dream Circle to integrate and multiply the dimensions of this experience.
Each session will be split between a discussion on a chapter(s) of Dr Estés’ book, and holding space for 1 dream sharing each week. A dream circle is a sacred, ancient practice where participants take turns sharing a dream they recall from sleep-time. All genders, backgrounds, experience levels are welcome.
No prior experience or knowledge is required, but participants will be asked to be open, share as much as they are willing, be present, explore, and respect the group and its container. Participation in all 12 weeks is highly encouraged.
The purpose is to cultivate thoughtful discussion, self-examination, and curiosity in an environment that is open, confidential, and non-judgmental.
This circle is virtual, on Zoom, and worldwide, welcoming participants from any location. The offering is donation-based, with a minimum donation of $50 for the full 12-week journey and group facilitation.
This circle is part reading group, part creative ritual, part soul-tending. My dream is that we connect with myth, psyche, and the power of dreams in a deeply intimate and trusting way.
